Local walks to start November

On Saturday 1st of November Jo took the group around Drumclog Muir and Dougleston, passing this wonderful 1904 Art Nouveau style monument to James Gale one of the Victorian engineers who designed the Mugdock and Craigmadddie reservoirs. Fabulous colours and the weather wasn’t too bad either.

A great turn out for the following weekend when Paul took 25 walkers around the Blanefield circular. A good walk in spite the of the mud and water on some of the paths. Dumgoyne looked spectacular catching the sunshine above the trees.
