New Year Dram and Dumpling Walk
Loads of us came out to join the New Year Walk around Mugdock on a dry, cold and slippery day. Great to catch up for the first walk of ’26, many thanks to Margaret for organising, to all the Clootie Dumpling bakers (absolutely gorgeous) and all those who helped out on the day.

On Saturday 1st of November Jo took the group around Drumclog Muir and Dougleston, passing this wonderful 1904 Art Nouveau style monument to James Gale one of the Victorian engineers who designed the Mugdock and Craigmadddie reservoirs. Grantown on Spey Walking Holiday
The group had an enjoyable week with great walks, sunshine and wonderful autumn colours. The Speyside Hotel was excellent and top marks for the meals.
