Accessibility Statement

Glasgow Health Culture Rambling Club had an audit carried out by AA Web Solutions in September 2024 to analyse the acccessibility of this website.

The website accessibility areas analysed were:
⦁ Colour contrast – pass
⦁ Alt descriptions – some missing
⦁ Headings – pass
⦁ Text zoom – pass

No errors were detected when using WAVE(Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool) on each page via the Firefox browser.
The site was then manually tested which found a few photographs with missing ‘alt text’ which were immediately fixed. ‘Alt text’ is important for blind or partially sighted people as it describes the image which can be read by a screen reader.
