The group had an enjoyable week with great walks, sunshine and wonderful autumn colours. The Speyside Hotel was excellent and top marks for the meals.

One on the walks the group enjoyed was part of the Dava Way, they passed Lady Catherines Halt, a lovely gateway and private stop on the West Highland line and encountered a solitary redcoat, erected to commemorated the Battle of Cromdale in 1690.

Thanks to Robin for all his organising
