Alloway, a beautiful walk through Burns country

A great walk from the Robert Burns Museum which went through the memorial gardens and across the Brig o’ Doon, made famous by Burns in the tale of Tam O Shanter. Following the Blue Bonnet trails we headed down to the Ayrshire coast path and lunch! Returning we stopped to look at the Auld Kirk and passed through Belleisle and Rozelle Parks, Burns Cottage, the Poets Walk and had time to look at the Alloway Tunnel ART project mural too. A very packed and interesting day.
